going to push out the update to the HTC Desire. My friend has one and the storage capability is embarassing. Yesterday she got a low on memory message when she tried to send a text message. She has deleted a lot of her apps and photos. Her local US Cell rep said he had the same problem and to wait for the update.

I believe the update to 2.2 is available now or will be very shortly. It will not be pushed and from my understanding requires a backup and wipe of the device.

They Released the update for the desire on February 8th which is a week earlier than expected. Here is the link to the US Cellular Download page for the Desire all you have to do is follow the instructions. We have updated a couple here at our store.
