Good questions. I think they need to restructure the plans some. They are priced pretty high under the spin of "value". Customers see the offering of value, but then realize they will be paying $20 more a month for most plans and don't see the value in that. They also need to get more phones. Most customers complain that our phone selection is bad. Getting the iPhone wouldn't hurt too. Sprint getting it now makes it that much worse for US Cellular not having it. I would also bring back lower text plans like we used to have. $4.95 for 250, $9.95 for 750 instead of this $20 unlimited or per use at $.25 each. I heard that US Cellular is postponing their LTE roll out from the 4th quarter to the 1st quarter 2012. That seems like a big mistake considering how they were stating in press releases that it will be available for sale by the holiday season. I guess the holiday season must not be that big of a deal for them unlike every other company. That's two strikes against US Cellular. You have all these competitors now offering the iPhone and now USCC is postponing LTE--something that could have given them a competitive advantage or at least got them back in the game.
