What is happening to us cellular???
The happiest customers in wirelessWHAT A JOKE!!! 👿 oh and the unhappiest workers to i might add!! what happend to uscellular caring about us? I used to love going into the store when it was a warm welcomeI had a great time with the employees and Ifelt like I matterd and now you got into a store and well you wait over an hour to get helped, your rushed in and out, and most of the time you dont even get your problem taken care of! I understand uscellular is a busy place but I just dred going into any store The employess look burned out and the dont care!!! And what happend to just going into pay a bill and just get a thank you? now they try pressuring us into crap we dont want or need you must be desperate,, I dont know what change...

That sounds terrible. You probably just got caught in the crossfires of the pressures on the company. The company is trying its best to push forward and I guess they feel they need to sacrifice certain means in their service to achieve their goal.
It is unfortunate that you had to be one of the customers who fell victim to it, but I hope that when your Verizon contract runs out, you find that US Cellular may be back to where it belongs: caring about the customers and their needs. 😢

So sorry to hear this. The sad part about it; You're right. My company has lost the focus which made it what it is today. Now I work for an Agent in the retail channel, and I can tell you that should you ever happen back across US Cellular down the road, Agents are who you want to deal with. Corporate/Retail stores don't seem to care anymore, they have long waits, the employee's are burned out, and their payrates are getting slashed.
The Agent that I work for is amazing, and we continue to provide the best customer experience possible every day. I didn't buy into it until I saw it firsthand.

I'll tell you why that is. The sales reps have had their pay cut in half and are expected to do more work for less pay. Second, the senior leadership at u.s. cellular doesn't give a rats ass about the front line as they are trying to do everything in their power to take away commissions such as cheaper phone prices online, waived activation fees online, waived equipment fees on lines, higher quotas, and so forth. Third, the belief plans did not have the growth expected and instead have had quarterly losses 7 quarters in a row. Lastly, the sales reps handle everything such as sending phones out for repair, handling phone problems, and technical issues. Of course they want to get you out the door as quickly as possible.
