Moving??
Hi all, I'm currently on my parent's plan, and have no major complaints with U.S. Cellular, besides not having the iPhone (we switched from Sprint; I had the iPhone). I'm about to move to an area where U.S. Cellular roams (the nearest home area is an hour away) so I will be roaming constantly, will that be an issue? My phone is usually connected to wifi on campus but not always. I was considering letting my cousin have my phone, and just getting the iPhone with Virgin Mobile since I know that they have great coverage where I'm moving. Will roaming constantly even matter? Thanks!

If you stay on your parent's plan it won't be a problem since their usage will offset the roaming you do. If you have the account in your name only then it would be a problem since you would be outside the USCC coverage area. Then you would be canceled by the company for being outside their service area. Like I said, if you stay on your parent's plan, it shouldn't be any problem and your coverage should be just fine.

US Cellular offers 200mb of data roaming (per month) before you are throttled. If you are using the wifi most all the time on campus it won't matter then. Just a heads up about what your data speeds will be like though while roaming.
