Pending changes coming at USCC

One and done is over, if you get subsidized equipment you get a contact.
$35 restocking fee.
End of auto pay discount.
They might as well change their name to 'just like all the other big guys' but without the benefits of a true nation wide carrier..
Everything that set them apart is gone.. For me it's kinda sad.. I was with them for a long time, had enough kool aid to kill a horse, and unfortunately I too was force feeding it to reps for years, all for naught.

It's called deceit. You lead your employees with lies and deceit and don't allow for any questioning of the official corporate line. If corporate says jump, you are to ask "how high?" Do not think for yourself and do not question anything. Do not rock the boat if you know what's best for you. If they cut staffing, you are to work just that much harder to pick up the slack and you are to appreciate the fact that you haven't been fired yet, but your time will come, that's for sure.

What a wonderful, ethical, and honest company to work for. Makes one proud to say one works there. And you're right "USCC, just like the other guys, but with a fraction of the phone selection and no stores outside a small defined region." I'm going to be...

After all the changes to the "Belief", I choose my words carefully to customers so they dont think I'm a liar later when it changes again. I no longer feel the company has the level of ethics or standards that I have for myself. Just sell out already and put us out of our misery.

We'll have to see if this Meyers guy is as big of an idiot as the last prez. Putting contracts back in place sure isn't going to help matters. All it's going to do is get customers to think they were lied to and then want to cancel. Hopefully they get rid of that worthless "getting to know your customers" book that is a total waste of paper and trees.

There once was this company, pretty well respected, liked by customers.

Sure it had it's share of Kool-Aid, many companies do, and yes many drank far too much, and were considered cultists.

But a good company none the less.

As a ex agent, I remember well when the "Belief Plans" rolled out. I said to my people, "This will never stay in place, it can't"

Then along came the Belief Plan advertising plan, ballons, confetti, the shrug and guess what? Consumers shrugged. Millions wasted---

Enter the Hamburger queen--Disaster nearly from the start. More millions wasted. Then came the "mini reorganization" No AAE's with years of experience gone, replaced by more Kool-Aid drinking minions, with less pay and less knowledge--result? ...

Put a fork in US Cellular......they are done! 👀

Not sure how they are even going to try to compete with the big 3's early upgrade program. T-Mobile's Jump, Verizon's Edge and AT&T's Next will just speed up USCC's slow death. US Cellular is still stuck at upgrading customers at 22 months under normal circumstances and 18 months early at best (just like the old days).

"Verizon Wireless today announced Edge, its response to T-Mobile's Jump! and AT&T Next. The program lets customers finance handsets over time, as well as upgrade to new handsets as often as once every six months."
