Anyone think TOPS
Is going smoothly? Wow, talk about a hot mess. So far it's been a total disaster. And from what I've heard so far, I don't see anything good coming out of TOPS vs CARES. Seems like it's a giant step backwards. I don't know what they were thinking. This conversion could be the beginning of the end of this company. ☹️

Nothing is running smoothly with TOPS and I don't think it ever will. I think whoever is in charge of updating the software or fixing the issues will always be 5 steps behind. Meanwhile, the customers are told to call back later. One customer I know of has had his phone suspended for a month because TOPS will not allow us to restore it.
What's the benefit of having to do ten steps instead of the previous three for an ESN swap? Currently, I'm trying to find a workaround for swapping two active ESNs on the same account.

Even the most devout USCC employees have been predicting the end for a few months.

Sunday through Wednesday the computer system was down completely at all uscellular outlets nation wide the same is true for Thursday and Friday with the exception of maybe an hour each day that it was up and working. Saturday Sunday and now Monday the system is up about 50 % of the time but it only works for half the issues. The reality is customers are waiting hours to days for service and in some cases now over a week. Customers are very upset and many will leave the company. Uscellular needs to fix this because it is definitely not BETTER!

US Cellular is writing their own obituary. They did some over the air update that really messed up Samsung smart phones-especially GS3s. A huge amount of their customers can't get signal now-a big strike one. Second, they shut down their computer system to switch to a new one. It was down for like 4 days entirely. Third, the new billing system doesn't work and they had to shut down their system for another 3 or so days-strike two. Now they are bringing back contracts if they ever do get things working again-strike three. Customers are going to feel like they were lied to. They made 3 huge mistakes all within a month of each other. Most customers won't stand for that. Not sure if it's bad timing or just bad management. Maybe they'r...
