So let's look at US Cellular and see what has happened in the last few years. I believe in 2010 the politically correct Carlson family, who owns TDS which owns US Cellular, hired a woman with no experience in wireless to run their cellular business. She had a lot of experience doing commercials for another politically correct corporation-McDonald's and all their "urban/hip hop" geared commercials. That was all she needed to get hired. So she created some gimmicks like the Belief Project with points, one and done contracts, battery swap, online pay discount, etc. Now they have taken those selling points away from customers in a "bait and switch" type deal. So you're telling me that this new "out of the box" billing system that is used by other companies besides USCC was several years in the making? It is not a specific billing system, it's a generic one. Why would that take years and years to plan? It would be like saying their McAfee out of the box virus protection was in the planning stage years and years ago. I don't believe it. All they did was buy a generic cellular billing system from a vendor. I doubt this fiasco was years in the planning (2007/2008/2009). If it was, then that makes it even worse. To have that lousy new system say it took 5 or 6 years to plan out is a disgrace. They would of had time to work the bugs out, but they didn't. I'm sure they planned it out no more ...

Believe it or not it's true.. I remember it as early as 2008, and seeing screen shots of it in 2010.. it was considered one of their big 6 initiatives for a long time.. "incompetent" about sums it up.
