State of US Cellular
I'm curious as to why the posts & comments abruptly ended as of October 31?? With all the confusion due to billing and general lack of understanding from a company stand point one would think this forum would be huge. I personally dont see how USCC can continue over the next 3-5 years. Losing customers hand over fist is no way to build a brand.
As a former employee at a corpoate retail location its mind boggling they are still going. Last i heard a standard wait time is around 2-3 hours! Crazy & glad i'm out of there.

Not sure why nobody has talked about USCC for a while now. It's just as horrible as you might imagine. You thinking USCC being around 3-5 years from now? I'd say more likely 3-5 months at best! I can't even begin to describe the disaster that TOPS turned out to be. That's why CEO Mary Dillon left right before the roll out. She knew how bad it was and wanted out and nothing to do with it. The level of incompetency from corporate is almost criminal.
The iPhone didn't save the company. It was all renewals that initial weekend it rolled out. The company was really betting on the iPh to turn things around and I just don't think it happened. Yes, wait times are still 2 to 3 hours and customers are irate. You wouldn't even run a por...

Your completely right!!! I was hired 3 weeks ago from the first day I could see that it was horrible! I thought to my self OK OK you have dealt with mad people before. But these people are beyond mad they are irate. I have been through system changes before with my last job and there were a few flaws when it first came out but we all did the work around for them and than after a month or so all the kinks were ironed out. But since this came out about 6 months ago and there is still problems every single day and the system is beyond slow. Customers are waiting hours on end to pay a bill or trobbleshoot a phone. People would come in and than sit down wait anywhere from 20 to one hour and finally just leave. All those people might as well be go...

US Cellular has lost it. As an ex agent who saw this all coming I got out before my new contract was to be signed.
Aside from that, I'm a customer of theirs since 1993 when it was known as United States Cellular.
I've been lied to, held on hold for up to 2 hours, been mis-billed, ask for escalation, been refused. And all I hear are EXCUSES, EXCUSES.
I'm done with these clowns of the cell word at the end of this bill cycle.
Totally incompetent!!!!!! And I didn't even get a damn happy meal out of it. Thanks Mary!
