I just started at us cellular 2 weeks ago and...
They have never given me any idea of what to be making in commotion I have searched for it on their sites but can not find a thing on the structure of it. Can anyone help. The average person has 15adds and 2 connected devices at my store what would be the monthly commotion? How is it laid out?
On a side note is it worth it???
I just started and I hate every single day I have been there. It is ridiculous. Every time I observed a transaction for a customer the manager has had to apologize and issue a credit to their account 90% of all the customers that come in want to pay a bill than are upset because the bill system messed up there stuff. Every time I have watched an interaction the tops system freezes or gets stuck and is always slow....

I think you mean commission not commotion right? I can't really say how much you'll make. Are you full or part time? Depends on how much traffic is in your store. I know the pay is tiered. If you make 0 to like 60% of your quota, you get $X per add. Renewals you get $8, so that's easy. But the tiered thing is hard to follow. I think if you hit 115% or higher of your add quota, you get like $45 per new line. It can pay very well, but is it worth it? Not sure. You came too late. Under the old billing system, it was worth it, but this new system may not be. It's a horrible billing system and either doesn't work at all or is incredibly slow. Many long time as well as newer employees have quit or are seriously looking at other jobs ...

Thanks for your post I agree with you and I am full time. But I can tell you right now the most adds the store has gotten per person is 17 and that was not at the goal. And that was November through black Friday and everything usually it is more about 10 a month so if its about that its only 80 and than plus the other stuff you sell with it at only 10%. And the top person in my store only sold 2500 at the most per month so if I did that every month than it would be 250. 330 total. So about that so yearly around 24000 which quite frankly is not enough to deal with all that crap and bad system and pissed off customers. Before I started I thought it was a better company but after being there and seeing all the bad things and mad customers and t...

I have a few friends who work for US Cellular and they hate their jobs. They hate every minute of it. They say they are understaffed and over worked. They have lines of people waiting to be helped. Don't expect to make a lot of money with their new system. A billing system is the "brains" of the company. It's what runs just about everything for the customer base. If you have a crappy, lousy billing system, then your company is crappy and lousy too by default.

Yea I have already seen that they can't keep anyone there. I am quiting as well. I can't stand the place or the management. So done! It not worth my time. Today was my last day I could not do any more. A customer threw a pen at the girl that I was watching and was pissed off about the billing system she had a large buss ness and could not buy a charger because the system wouldn't pull her up because it can't support more that 20 lines. Which is not a good way to keep your clients. Than I got told that my dress shoes where not good enough and I didn't look good enough with my very professional dress suit. But whatever us cellular short sleeve t ****s just look freaking fantastic ...NOT .. anyway after listening to a handed full of pissed off ...

Well I'm sorry you had to go through so much crap. I'm also sorry you quit, but in the long run you'll see it was for the best. The angry customer issues, the nit picking on your clothes, the long wait times, the billing system issues, all of that stuff isn't going away anytime soon. You'd just be telling us the same stuff 3 months from now, 6 months from now. You don't deserve to go through that. If you're new, you have nothing to lose leaving before you get in and become dependent on a paycheck from them. I wish you all the best in finding a decent job. 🙂
