USCC=sinking ship
does anybody else think that u.s cellular is a sinking ship? after all, they upgraded to a craptastic operating system that not only gets your billing incorrect but constantly says that your past due as well. they lost 71000 subscribers in one quarter alone. they still have problems with orders not processing properly and now they are cutting paychecks by implementing a new commission structure. what are your thoughts? personally, I believe this company is a sinking ship and with the implementation of the new billing system, they've just struck the iceberg.

You nailed it. The USS Cellular struck an iceberg back in July/Aug '13 and has been sinking ever since. They implemented a billing system that was supposedly in development for around 5 years, but it must have been developed by 3rd graders as a class project. What a joke. That system still crashes constantly and all the other side programs tied to it crash too like MyAccount and Rewards Mgt Tool, *228, and everything else. And instead of the corporate executives taking a pay cut, they'd rather pass that down to everyone else-all the small people. They are unaccountable to their TOPS screw up. Now they are cutting commissions to patch up all the holes left by their customers getting on lifeboats. Plus the company is doubling down on the ...

that is extremely unfair to assume that about third grade class projects. third grade projects are better made than TOPs was.

You are right. I apologize to all the 3rd graders out there to say they would make something as crappy as TOPS. I'm assuming TOPS was made in some 3rd world country like Nigeria, New Guinea, or Haiti where English is not their primary language. Also, I apologize to any tribesman with a spear for insulting them saying they would make something as crappy as TOPS. Let's just get that out of the way too. 🙂

Very true, almost exactly sums up my experience with US Cellular while I worked there. Ridiculous. Their employee Summit was like a Nazi Rally. Dirty looks from all management if you didn't jump up and scream "WE DELIVER!" on cue. If there wasn't free beer, I woulda walked out.

All a person has to do is look at their FB page and see everyday for months and months nothing but complaints from customers. Hundreds, if not thousands, of complaints. What I can't understand is why anyone would sign up for or renew service with such a shoddy, unsavory company? I would stay as far away from that sinking ship as possible. And every response from their FB rep on their site begins with "I'm sorry". That should be US Cellular's new tag line; not Hello Better, but We're Sorry. And to add insult to the situation, you'll see customers on their FB page tell their story about why they want to leave US Cell like having their phones shut off for 2 weeks even though they aren't past due or a phone replacement being stuck and unab...
