I was told today that US Cellular will be releasing a new Android by LG any day and it will blow away the Desire and Mesmerize. Can anyone tell me if it will have a slide out keyboard ?

IS Us Cellular getting the Curve 3G with OS 6? I was under the impression that they were but its not on the website yet.

I know when a phone is powered down it will go straight to voicemail when someone calls. Is this the same for when a battery dies, or is there a chance that it can still ring through before voicemail picks up?

I ask because a friend of mine is missing, can't get ahold of him and given the circumstances of when I last seen him I worry something bad may have happened rather than just him being avoidant, but I'm not sure. The thing is when anyone calls it will ring the usual 4 or 5 times then voicemail picks up. It's been almost a week since I've heard anything, I would assume that if something bad happened the phone battery would've died at this point, if that's the case would it automatically go to voicemail or is there a chance that even ...

Can anybody help me with this I rooted my phone using Z4Root in the marketplace. I am able to access everything in my phone I just can't figure out how to get rid of the U.S. Cellular Boot screen and make it my own. If anyone could help I would appreciate it!

Anybody know if there are going to be new phones out before Xmas for USCellular? Otherwise I'm thinking I'll just get the Mesmerize....

I've been noticing a lot of people being very negative on here lately about USCC and their new marketing strategy. The thing that really gets me is that for the most part it appears as though the people most opposed to it aren't even USCC customers.

If it doesn't effect you or if the companies so small and destined to fail why even waste your time posting about it?

I've seen threads where the Belief project has been refered to as religious and put on a biblical plateau. Come on people lets not let our imaginations direct conversations about a regional based cell phone carrier. As all of you have said USCC is a small company compared to the big boys and the Belief project is just a way for them to set themselve apart in the industry...

I would like to take a second to address people on this forum that think they have all the facts. Many people spend a lot of time compaining about the belief project, but half of the people are not even going in to talk to a sales person. Looking through numbers there are a lot of times where people would end up paying more, but if that is the case stay on your old plan. You are not forced to switch, you ca keep everything the way it was as if there was no belief project. Seems like the people compaining on here are the people that expect everything to be free in life. If you want benefits you will pay for it. Unfortunatly I was unable to pay for US Cellular, and had to leave mid-contract to be on my mothers verizon account. Now things are better, US Cellular went 400.00 into collections....

How can I fix this? 400.00 Is still too much to pay at once....

How does US Cellular deal with stuff like this? I know sprint eventually just writes it off in certain cases (My sister had sprint, owed them 1000.00...and 2 years later, i know for a fact she got them back with a 200.00 deposit. I was there.)

What should I do? It was the best customer service, and for where I lived the best service!

I have sprint now and I like that when someone leaves me a voicemail, its says the number they called from and I can press 8 to call that number back. Does USCC have this? If not is there a visual voicemail that supports this and works on USCC and is free???

I know some people are stating it will cost more it will cost less, but honestly never having to sign a contract again, after your first intial one? Verizon smart phone contract cancellation is 350..

The belief points is like a reward system, where you get to, use it to discount items in store, car chargers, screen protectors and so forth, which saves $ and adds up over time.

The plans with phone replacement, basically if your phone breaks drops in water go in, and swap it out, no waiting, for a replacement unless they don't have it in the store.

I just heard this and don't know how true it is...USCC will be rolling out "Phone Swap" just like battery swap but with phones...trade your phone for a refurbished one or pay $100 if you lose it....can it be true? I also hear they will finally have a family plan for data very soon...all devices will be included!!!

I feel pretty proud being a US Cellular Representative at this moment and I just wanted to share this with everyone!
