does anyone know when coverage will be in the chicago area???what is the coverage service like in other areas, meaning is the phone service good?

you pay for what you get. If a lot of cricket users are trying to make calls, you get a stupid error. eh, your choice. Also, only local coverage.

Cricket is currently building the towers in the Chicago area. Actually, right now, they are hiring for almost all of the positions for that city.

If you read the story about the launch in Milwaukee & Madison Wisconsin on the main page, it says that it'll come to Chicago in the first half of 2009. Also, if you look at the coverage map (generalized, of course) for Wisconsin, it also shows future coverage for the entire Chicagoland area, Rockford, and points in between along I-90. It also shows Northern Indiana in most of Lake, Porter, LaPorte, St Joseph, & Elkhart Counties. So they plan to have the entire market covered as far south as Kankakee, and as far west as Morris, Dekalb, & Rockfor...

Cricket will be launching in Chicago, Baltimore Maryland and in Philadelphia Pa in the first weeks of March. The company has grown so much in the past 3 yrs. I have been with them and they have gotten better within time. Unlike some of the contract carriers who have dipped, cricket is amazing me more and more. Now the broadband internet service. Thats cool too. Works great. Has some cons but what doesnt these days and for 35 flat rate. Whos gonna complain.

Since no one posted this, I am. They're already providing service in Chicago. So anyone in the Chicago market wanting Cricket can get it now. Once I get some money put aside, I'm gonna try and get wireless internet. I'm surprised that ...

My brother has them... they s*ck... since day one they have taken money from his bank account... these guys are con artist... and the "staff" geez... i have seen some of these people get fired from other company's for ethical reasons... what does that say about cricket's business ethics???? you be the judge...
