No further details as far as coverage area or anything. Cricket resently signed an agreement with VRZ which "reportedly" will enable cricket customers to use there network, using mintues out of your flex bucket account. If I find more information I'll post it.

Above is the cricket service area. Seems you will be able to use the Travel Time, anywhere. Cricket is using several networks to roam on. The rate per minute is 59 cents per minute for contract customers and 69 for Jump customers. This is a great feature for college kids like need to go back home and still need there phone. Cricket is making distance.

Ouch. Those minutes are pretty pricey. 😳

It might be pricy, but think of the typical customer cricket attracts: not one that really travels all that often. I'd say a $0.59 phone call to AAA would be worth it on the way home from summer break if I needed it.
