BOOST MOBILE SMS TEXT MESSAGING - ISSUES IN TEXAS

I've been using Boost Mobile's $50 unlimited plan for a short while and must say its clarity and connection (no dropped calls) is refreshing, but Boost has a major issue in Texas and maybe throughout the USA - its SMS Text Messaging Network is NOT RELIABLE NOR DEPENDABLE, and sometimes just does not work. I've reported it to Boost Mobile many times, they can't tell me why its not working. Everyone who is having issues needs to report it otherwise Boost won't fix it.

Ok someone kick me for praising Boost only to find out later after 5 hours of no phone service, and 4 phone calls to Boost Customer Service to only be hung up on and nothing resolved. Boost Customer Service I guess is like Sprint PCS - horrible. One must wait 20-30 minutes each time to reach a Customer Rep, only to be hung up on when connected. So this evening I ported my phone from Boost over to T-Mobile and I'm NEVER EVER GOING BACK TO SPRINT or any BOOST subsidiary ever again. Lesson learned.

I just want to ask one question: how does anyone know this is a real problem, and not something you just completely fabricated for the sole purpose of coming here to slam Boost and plug T-M ...

Last I heard this was a FREE country. Who are you to say what can or can't be said on here?!
I don't believe in censorship, you should be able to post whatever you think is right, even if you don't agree with what is said.

Agreed. This is a free country. By the same token, I can also do the same.

Hey big mouth, some people who are thinking about signing up with Boost come into forums like these to get other peoples' impressions of the company before they join.
I can promise you that the original poster was not fabricating anything. While the calls on Boost are loud and clear, they do have some serious issues. Text messaging is the worst I have ever seen. Messages can take hours to be sent or received and sometimes it never happens at all. Customer service is busy a lot, and compared to the larger carriers, they are not that knowledgable. For those reasons, I too ported out of Boost and am enjoying speedy messaging and competent customer service with my new carrier.
So don't slam other poeople for airing their grievances and hope...

I do not have to know this person personally. I have had the same exact expereiences that they had, and so have a lot of people. Boost has some major problems, as do the other carriers, and people have every right to complain about it. In another post you speak about the troubled economy. Well, if pointing out a carrier's major faults can help prevent someone from making a financial mistake, then it's a job well done as far as I am concerned. By all means feel free to go write that book in it's proper forum abotu your bad experience. Who knows, it may help someone who's on the fence about choosing a carrier.
The compaints here are valid and if you do more research I am sure you will see that it's true.
