When you chrip someone, when is the 24 hour rule in effect for unlimited? Is it 24hrs from the first chirp?

I asked this question when I called into have my phone activated and I was told it was midnight to midnight. So if you chirp someone at 9pm you are charged if you are still talking to them at 12:01 am you will be charged again for that 24hr period.
