Getting ready to purchase the i875.....
SandyOct 20, 2006, 12:37 AM
I currently own a i285. But I have trouble hearing on it because I wear hearing aids. I am considering buying the i875 after doing research because it is considered HAC (Hearing Aid Compatible). I probably won't use all the features it comes with because it is mostly for emergency use and checking e-mails and texting. (But then again who knows...) 🙂 My question is will I be able to use the SIM card from my i285 in the i875 in order to keep my same phone #? Thanks again. It is great that they are making more cell phones to work with hearing devices.

1. do u know if there are any other phones that are HAC compatible because the i875 is expensive, if money is no issue then spend away 😁
2. im pretty sure u can switch out ur sim card and put it in the new phone but i would go to a sprint/nextel store just to make sure, they might had issued new sim cards but i highly doubt it, or u can call cust. support but im pretty sure u can swap the sim cards w/ no problem at all, im very sure
oh and the i875 does has some nice features such as bluetooth which u can send files and pics to other phones that have bluetooth and a mp3 player,
enjoy 😁

😁 Thanks for the helpful advice. A local dealer got me my i875 in one day. I love it. The SIM from my i285 worked fine in my new i875. I got to keep my all my info. along with my existing phone #. Now my husband wants one of these babies. I highly recommend this phone to anyone who wears hearing aids. I works great for me. Not to mention the $100 rebate on this model phone is still going on until 10/31/2006. Thanks again.
