The Takeover is Imminent
This weekend all of my call center's (WEST in Reno) NBO reps just had merger training. This all basically detailed the expectations of what day zero and beyond will be like, along with new transfer numbers and a funny reference to Cingular (the "Orange Tiger" team, hahaha). Anyways, it seems AWS is expecting it's "day zero" to be coming very soon. Any other reps or people with any thoughts?

New Phones days or weeks away?
One way or the other, some movement should be made in the way of new phones or a change to Cingular sooner. We need some more choices as customers...like some nice, higher end features like video recording. Anyone know more about what may lie ahead?

This says that the takeover was on day 167 on Sept. 15th, and that most decisions are made by day 180, which would be just a few days before October begins if you go by that statement. There is a good web site to visit for info and FAQ's...it's: www.newcingular.com
It's a great site to visit, and answers a lot of questions. If anyone has more info on when we can expect AT&T to changeover to Cingular, please post your comments. Thanks!

P.S I am never rude to a customer, I always treat them exactly how they treat me. So next time you wonder why that rep was snippy with you perhaps you should wonder whether you were snippy to them...

Need help choosing a new phone
It might be that AT&T is waiting on the takeover to be complete or close to it, before launching any new phones. That or we might see all new phones when Cingular takes over. Can someone assist me in choosing a new phone, or is waiting into October a better option?
Los Angeles (West Hollywood/Hollywood) Reception?
I'm thinking of switching to ATT from Sprint. Is the coverage in Metro LA okay? I hear some people complain about calls being dropped...
Help me! Thanks!
