I recently upgraded to a Nokia 3220. I've tried taking some pictures and sending them via mms.. but they just sit in the outbox and never get sent. T-Zones doesn't work, either. "GPRS Connection not avail..".

Any ideas? Thanks!

I am considering switching from Virgin Mobile to Tmobile Prepaid. One interesting thing I noticed in Tmobile's prepaid terms & conditions: It says something like if the phone is on and rings with the call but is not answered, and then the call goes to voicemail, time will still be charged for that incoming call.

Is this true? I've had other prepaid services and whether the phone is on or off, any call that kicks to voicemail doesn't cost me airtime.
(Of course I realize it costs me airtime to then call and the check the received message.)

But this is a big point because I get many unanswered calls to voicemail and I don't want to be charged for these.

Does anyone know to get CC to stop sending people our way to do things only a corp store can do? We are indirect.

Anyone have any info on the new MDA Vario (a.k.a. Qtek 9100, Imate K-Jam, Cingular 8100, HTC Wizard )? When does Tmobile plan on releasing these here in the States? Some are saying Q1 of 2006. Anything more definite?

If you compare their old brochure with the new one they just came out with for the new promos the coverage area looks quite a bit larger through-out the United States! Some areas that used to be roaming are now digital areas!! Looks like they've finally started to really make their network bigger and better

I recently used the online Phone Upgrade interface, after the order it said I could track it via UPS. But, it didn't give a tracking number? How am I supposed to track it?

I currently have a verizon family plan with a treo 650 and lg 8100. My treo has text problems up the anus and i call at least once a day b/c it's not working and they refuse to send me another phone so i am dumping their asses faster than a fat kid eating a donut. My question is what phones do they offer that are similar to the ones i currently have? The closest i could get features wise was the motorola v360 for the lg 8100 and a blackberry for my treo. Any suggestions as to if i should try to wait till some of their newer models come out or just bite the bullet and get what i can now

When will T-Mobile make these plans available? I would like to get the 39.99 1500 Whenever Minutes plan before Nov 2 so that I can start using the plan in Novemeber instead of having to wait till December.

T-Mobile reduced rates at its $40 price point and 1,500 anytime minutes level.

The company added 500 minutes of use to its $40 price plan to provide a total of 1,500 anytime
minutes (no nights or weekends) from 1,000 minutes.

It also reduced the price of its 1500 MOU plan, including nights and weekends, to $50 from $80 or
37.5%. This plan was already at the lowest price level compared with competitors. The per minute rate is now lower than the per minute rate for Verizon's and Cingular's 2,000 anytime minute plans
($0.033/min vs. $0.05/min).

These rate reductions could put some pressure on the other wireless carriers; however, because TMobile was already the low-price leader, the service may be viewed by consumers as a low-cos...

Or did I miss something? I just looked to see the v360 (its my day off so I didn't ahve more normal 9:30am check) and I find this in the description:

What the hell? Is this a horrible misprint because the v360 can do PTT but is crippled for Tmo because we can't support it? Or did they just decide to throw in PTT over an EDGE network? Is there something special I don't know about to make PTT NOT lag horribly over an EDGE network?

What the..? Who the...? How did they...?

Well, I'm really glad to read everyone's input on the subject I posted. There are so many strong arguments for and against this, that the conversation can go a million ways.

But as history has taught us in this industry, once rumors start, and everyone buzzes about it, the companies involved are hush hush like "Oh, theres no talks" or "Oh, we're not for sale". But AT&T Wireless was saying that even after the spinoff from AT&T in 2001! I remember our entire call center being pulled together (~2000 employees) just so they can tell everyone "We're not going to merge with Cingular!!!". And that was in 2001!
