HUE/ MEMORY CARD
i got a customer that bought a 1gig card and we did format it and he supposivly downloaded the music correctly, but it will not show up on the HUE...but it will show up and play on a 8600 and a BlackBerry world....any help?
...
what did you format the card in?

the card needs to be formatted on the Hue and the music needs to be put in the correct folder....usually labeled music....also, they need to be in MP3 format which if the 8600 brings them up then it sounds like they are.
Did you try them in the 8600 and the World Phone before or after you formatted it w/ the Hue? If it was after, you just erased everything on the card and that's why you don't see them. My suggestion: Use a card reader and plug it in to your work computer and make sure they are in the correct format and in the correct folder before doing any kind of warranty replacement.

Agreed with above post by nodeposit. The Hue is the only phone in our lineup that runs a "proporietary" format on the card. The software was designed around using the phone with a data cable (very few ppl use them). Pop the card in a micro-to-standard SD adapter AFTER formatting it on the Hue. You should be able to drag the files into a "Music" folder (it's been a while since I had to do this, so please correct me if I'm wrong).
