Sprint Upstage as an upgrade
I just got a hold of a clean sprint upstage do i need an unlock code to use it on alltel like sprint or can customer service activate it?

you would need to find out if ur local store can reporgram it to use on alltel. Or you can try todo it ur self if you feel lucky.

Can't be reprogrammed in a store until Alltel carries the same model phone and has its own version of firmware for its network.

You will need the SPC from Sprint most likely. Good luck getting that. It really wouldn't be worth the hassle to be honest.

Best bet would be to sell it for another Sprint customer.
Even after getting the SPC you would have to reprogram it and then only voice and basic SMS would work. Everything else would not.

thats all i need is voice service. Not sure what SPC is unless you mean unlock code?
