I heard, what is probably just a rumor, that even though Alltel was just bought that Microsoft is looking at buying them because he wants to make a move into the wireless business. I know Microsoft recently acquired Danger Inc and was curious if this had any truth.

if so, they would have to formally announce it to the FCC for approval. If it was bought.
If it's in talks, you won't hear word of that for awhile, cause Alltel is privatly owned.
