My contract is getting ready to be up and I'm going to be getting a new phone. 🤣

I've narrowed it down to the Rokr or the Glimmer -- anybody have any opinions as to which one is better??

I only have experience with the ROKR, and that is a beautiful phone. However, if the Glimmer is anything like its GSM counterpart (the Shine), and you're willing to spend a little extra for it, it's definitely the right choice.

I looked at the glimmer when my wife was looking for a new phone, i didn't like it at all, we chose the Touch over the glimmer it really boils down to what you are looking for in a phone..

It just seems to be an all around phone. I read somewhere that it is EMS capable so watching videos on youtube is now possible....sounds sweet to me. The Touch is horrible at reception and I personally am not a fan of windows based phones....too many glitches.

if your a texter, I would not choose the ROKR, I have it and it is frustrating, I'd pick the Glimmer

I have the Rokr and love the little feller. However, the Glimmer is pretty money. The only thing I don't like about it is that if you are scrolling through a menu, the only way to scroll down is by dragging the edge of the screen, which doesn't always work the best. Other than that, it's a great phone as well.

Thanks everyone for the input! Decisions, decisions -- 😕

I have (briefly) thought about the Blackberry Pearl but I have absolutely no use for instant messaging or e-mailing on my phone -- so wouldn't that be a waste?

you would be supprised how much i love email on my phone and IM, i have the PPC6800 and love it, but for some it is too large a phone, but the full keyboard rocks as does wifi access when there is no cell access.. or using it to connect my laptop to the internet..
