Blackberry or PPC?

Hello all

I am thinking about getting a smart phone, but I don't know much about them. It seems to me that my options pretty much come down to a Blackberry or that HTC PPC 8600. Besides basic phone use, I would mostly use it to check stuff online like espn.com and occasionally my email. I just want to have the internet available whenever I need it, and the internet on a regular phone sucks. Which one has a better internet display? Which is a better way to go? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

bird it really comes down to what you like some people don't like the bulk of the ppc 6800 and others like my self love the fact that it has a full slide out qwrty keyboard and Wifi and GPS. those are the main perks to me. i havn't used BB much as its not my thing so i can't say how espn looks on it or anything, well to be honeest i don't go to espn much now anyways, as NCAA football is over and that is all i really like.. lol.. but any other questions about the 6800 i would be more than happy to answer for you..

Slow-ish load times, tricky navigation, and the fact that you can't put the mouse over an image on a site and opt to select/save. The BB is, however, FAR more reliable, and comes with the GPS chip already unlocked. At this time, it is NOT Rev. A capable. The BB Curve is launching tomorrow with Alltel, and will solve most everyone's grip about BB's not having a decent camera.

That being said, the PPC 6800 is more my play toy. It's got the MS Office pro, beastly processor ... but let's face it, we all just use this thing to browse the web and ...
