problems with ROKR
I have had my ROKR for about 4 months now and i'm starting to have problems with it, and was wondering if anyone else is having these problems. The charging on it sux, i will leave it plugged in all night and wake up the next morning and it had stopped charging during the night and didn't completely charge the phone. There have been other times when i just plug it in and it won't charge at all. I have tried different chargers and it still has the same problem. the other issue i'm starting to have is it is randomly deleting some contacts. i have a few that i know of in the last little bit get deleted completely out of my phonebook. i don't really know when exactly they were deleted, but these people have called me and i didn't recognize the n...

I haven't heard of these problems.....I do know there is new software out for the ROKR....probably won't fix the charging issue but it's free so you can give it a shot....if not, then you should still be under your year warranty....as long as there is no physical or liquid damage.....I would take it to a corporate store and have them check it out......FYI if you have the ability to use bluetooth ringtones, you will lose it either w/ a software upgrade or a warranty replacement.....there is no way around it that I know of....Sorry.

charging problems have always been a problem with motorola for me... i went through 5 e815 in one year all but one were charging issues.... but you know what still my favorite phone.... but the might be ablel to do an xbm on it and get you a diff one.

The ROKR and the E815 have different charging ports, pretty much every moto phone w/ the old charging port had problems......The main problem I hear now is about the Battery life. I don't know why they don't change the port on the E815 and bring it back out....that phone was awesome.
