Any new smartphones soon?
I'm new to this board, so I apologize if this is in the wrong forum. However, i am in the market for getting my first smart phone in the next month or two (before July). I was wondering if anyone knew if alltel will be releasing any new touchscreen phones w/ key pad (similar to the HTC PPC6800) - im not a big fan of the touch. or if i should just go after the Curve? I prefer the touch screen and WM b/c it is compatible with more add-on programs that I need at work, however, i could use the blackberry albeit without all the programs i would like to have. Thanks for your help!

Haven't heard of any other touchscreens comeing out any time soon. Curve is sweet, but I carry the Touch and you get used to it really fast. I love the phone - hope that helps.
I found programs (3rd party) ie live search from microsoft / PQ DVD Studios - burn movies and watch them on the touch. Those are just some of the things.

Thanks, how is it texting on the touch? I think I would dislike the interface on it? Or do you find it pretty usable?

my wife has the touch and i have the mogule/6800 we both love our phones mine is to large for her likes so she get that one. i love the wifi on mine. she can txt just fine on hers, hope it helps any.
