The merger may not close until 2009 or 2010?
It's OK...we weren't officially expecting Verizon to be here in Charlottesville until 2010 at the earliest anyhow. The good news is, though, that it WILL be here. My biggest reason for welcoming VZW is to take advantage of their fiber-optic system for the Internet. I've really had my fill of Comcast, who has disappointed me greatly after their takeover here of Adelphia.

Verizon and Verizon wireless don't really play together, but I will say that FIOS is pretty nice when it comes to your area for tv/internet/phone

too bad Verizon CS sucks. We almost had FIOS but my Dad got the run around too many times and canceled.
