Bypassing Ringtone Block

Does anybody know how to bypass the stupid ringtone block that alltel put on some of their phones like the ROKR? I figured out how to send the soundclips I want to my phone, but I cannot apply them as actual ringtones. Please help.

Not just Alltel.

It may be possible to find some software 'out there' to hack at the OS level of the phone and make it work, but you risk turning your phone into a paperweight. And it would not be covered under warranty.

Not at&t or Sprint (J2ME), not too sure about T-Mobile.

My Curve with T-Mobile doesn't have a block, but I know Alltel does.

Might I suggest more advanced forums such as Howardforums.com? Alltel subsection. Do a seach.

But there are a few ways to do it. Seem editing with bitpim, flash to a upgrade file that is not blocking it I believe .19 was the latest.
