If your phone is being sent in by a corporate store then you should be able to ask for a loaner phone. If you visited an authorized agent for Alltel then its up to them.

If you are still within the manufacturers warranty - and if the issue is something covered under warranty, you can get a loaner phone while a replacement is sent to you by mail. If your phone is out of warranty, you'd be better off getting a used Alltel phone on ebay or something to activate for the remainder of your contract.
