Is there any way to get a Blackberry Storm and get it to work under an Alltel account, not VZ?

Alltel has a non-Alltel phone policy. You must have an Alltel phone on Alltel's network... Wait a few months and when the merger is complete you can have your BB Storm. If you were to get lucky and get it hooked up you would encounter roaming fees out the *&^ not to mention several data functions would probally not work as there is no way to "flash" this over to Alltel at this time... Just give it a few months and the Storm will be yours...

Once the merger is done, there will be no need - as alltel will BE verizon in the non-divested markets - so your desire will be moot.
