Good stuff here. I like the iphone and think it is a good device, but as Steve says in the article he recommends them for apple users and/or first time smartphone users because of ease. Going beyond that would push you to becoming an android user.
Apple controls everything. No need to worry about how to do things. Once you learn what you can do that control becomes a limitation and Andoid opens ALL the doors to controlling everything about the way you choose to use your device down to what SW you want to use to actually run the thing.
They allow non market apps and complete access to all files at the boot level like a PC.
BT file transfer - no problem
Need a a larger battery? _ no problem swap it out
Want to use a standard USB to transfer files as a mass storage device to any computer? - no problem
Want to attach an actual USB stick to the phone for file transfer? - no problem.
Want to run multiple applications at the same time without limitation...
