iPhone 5 Design
I have seen early pics of the iPhone 5 and it looks like an iPod touch.
Does anyone have anything to add to that?
...
I have also seen the design for it, It does look alot like an Ipod touch.. From what I have seen the charging port is smaller... (Which means your old accessories probably won't work) the Headphone jack has been moved to the bottom of the phone (idk why, just seems like a horrible idea)... I don't care much for the new design if you can't tell... but maybe they will change it before release...

charge port IS NOT CHANGING

Well that's a relief, from the design I saw it looked like it was going to change. Appeared to be much smaller... Maybe I saw an early design or something... I figured it was a stupid decision to change it anyway... my bad.

Rumors are stacking up saying they are going to a smaller pin. I wouldn't be surprised either way though.

I would like a smaller connector.
Yes, there will be a fair number of whiners who say that all their old accessories don't work, but so what! No change in 5 years is plenty of time.
A smaller connector means newer accessories that aren't hampered by a [in my opinion] flimsy, dated design.
New designs FTW 😛

I have an iPod touch and it's the best spot for the headphone jack. I put my iPhone and iPod in my pocket with the bottom facing up with the screen against my leg. From the sounds of it, this seems as the general thing people do. If they do switch it to the bottom, then it seems like it is a good idea considering it's on the bottom of the iPod touch and iPod nano.
