Okay I have the shadow and i put my own custom ringtone into the text messaging.. it will play when a text message comes and when i read it it's still playing no matter what... i want it to stop when i click something or slide my phone up... how can i do that?

Is ISV allowed to load the kernel-mode driver, like the NDIS51 intermediate driver, on the WM5 Pocket PC device?

I don't know if I am in the right forum, but I am curious. I am really tired of having hte semi-qwerty keyboard. I really want a phone with full qwerty as in 1 button per letter. I have the Samsung Blast. I also want Windows Mobile on my future phone. As far as I know T-Mobile only offers: Shadow, Dash, Wing.....
My friend on AT&T just got a Blackjack...and all I can say is I'M IN LOVE! It's exactly what I am looking for. It's everything I want on the WRONG network. Are you aware of any phones from T-Mo that are simliar to the Blackjack?? Is the only way to get what I want to have an unlocked Blackjack??

I have a Moto Q 9c- went on a trip- turned it off on the pane and turned it back on when I landed and now can't read e-mails or txt messages- it shows they are there but when I open them they are blank, including ones I COULD read before this happened! I have tried deleting and re-adding accounts- read the UM, nothing. Any ideas???

I currently own a mpx220. I purchased it when it first came out several years ago. Since then, I have been looking for a phone to update too. I have attempted to purchase the blackjack 1 and 2 phone, but I was forced to send them back because of active sync issues. Ideally I would like to get a windows mobile 6 phone, however I'm most impressed with the nokia 95. I purchase the first version of the 95, but sent that back when I discover it originally didnt work on our networks in 3g. Now I'm most impressed with the new nokia n96 I recently seen hit the news. But realisically it probably wont even hit the U.S. anytime soon. And when it does, its 3g feature wont work on our networks.

What do I do? Is there a new windows mobile 6 ph...

So last week my coworker tells me that I can FINALLY update my Blackjack OS. Woohoo! I went to upgrade to Windows Mobile 6 on my Blackjack last night and was not successful. (Imagine that!) So I call Samsung this morning about this problem only to learn that the Windows Mobile 6 update has been delayed AGAIN to February 4th due to "issues." Come on Samsung! What are you doing to me over here?

I had a Sirius program, that ran great for a while, but now for some reason, I always error out when connecting. It seems to be a bit of an old program. I have other friends with WM6 and they are having the same issues. Anyone konw where I can get a current version of this software, or know somewhere I can go to stream my Sirius on my T-Mobile Shadow? Windows Mobile 6. Thanks!

Hey all, I am trying to decide between phones at the moment. What exactly is the difference between these two platforms?

Can a user do everything with a smartphone that one can do with a pocket pc? Is the touchscreen the only difference, or do the pocket pc (professional) versions have extra capabilities or some kind of advantage?

I'm having trouble getting my AT&T 8525 to sync in Vista. I've tried everything I can think of, shutting the phone off and then on again, soft reset, plugging in to different USB ports, etc, etc.

It just sits there and won't connect to sync. This is especially worriesome as I use it as a laptop modem while on the road.

any infor that someone might be able to provide would be outstanding!

Now I have a blackjack and with my previous phone I was able to set it to auto connect with an external bluetooth speakerphone when in range.

The blackjack connects when I manually set it but if I go out of range and then back does not auto connect.
Is there a way to set it?

I'm looking for a PDA phone to do some very basic functions that require Windows Office - calender to print at end of month, excel spread sheet to post expenses (and print at EOM). Don't really need internet/email yet, but will need in the coming year. Most important - I need to SEE THE SCREEN! Really like the Blackberry screens but the AT&T reps tell me no Windows Office on Blackberrys - this just doesn't make sense to me - are they correct?!?!?

Anyway, based on screen display alone my first choice would be a Blackberry (if someone can prove my AT&T reps wrong), 2nd is the Moto Q. But I am wide open to the thoughts of all you who I'm sure are much smarter than me on this!
