Is the HTC TyTN coming to Cingular-When/prices?
I have a Cingular 8125 that I like a lot. My fiancee is interested in the same phone but wants to be able to use the future UMTS and higher speed data and as well will be tethering that to a laptop. It seems that this is the perfect solution.
Are there any other phones she should look at instead? She doens't need a full PocketPC but it's important to her to be able to sync tasks, calendar, and contacts with her PC. As well, what is pricing expected to be if it comes out for Cingular?

If she just wants to have everything syncd, get her a smart phone and a data connect plan. You can't tether to a laptop without a data connect plan, so she'll definitely need that.
As for future release dates and prices, the only people at Cingy that know those things aren't allowed to tell anyone.
