Android

Can anyone recommend a good book or magazine that discusses all things Android? I learn best by reading and following steps and need to get up and running on my new Galaxy S II (should arrive on VDay 😁 ) very quickly. Came across a series of books called "Missing Manuals" and there was one for the G S II but wasn't sure if that was the most comprehensive I could/would find.

Also noted something a bit odd... All the Android magazines I found on the newsstand were for the UK market as most of the prices were in pounds. What's up with that?
