Slidescreen (APP)
I REALLY like it, and the only thing keeping me from buying it is that it doesn't sync with google talk/facebook.
If they could make it so it would take over one main "screen" and leave the other homescreens intact, it would be perfect IMO. I love how it displays data, but I use things like Talk and Pandora too much to make it default home screen.
MyTouch Android is a P.O.S.
The menu is just a big unorganized mess. The entire user interface is pretty, but not especially helpful. I would rather have a simple old vertical text menu, not different screen designs for everything.
It can't run Java applications. The phone tells me it doesn't support them. I guess I am now in an Apple-ish world where the phone only supports stuff from the official marketplace.
The web browser is not especially good. It's slow, which might be just due to the MyTouch hardware. Using Opera Mini on the T-Mobile Tap or Highlight is much better than the MyTouch's native brows...

i just recently got my g1 and can't tell you how much i love this phone. was an avid berry user, and a sidekick user years before that.
g1 trumps them all. doesn't trump the iphone completely, but definitely kicks the iphone in the knees.
so mytouch (g2) will not have a physical keyboard. i think i'll stay with g1.
