Samsung T809 Bluetooth
Just wanted to get an idea of how many people are now having problems with this phone's bluetooth. Whether its static or connection problems and what type of headset is been used. I tried the motorola h500 and i just got static. I also tried the motorola hs830 same problem. I had now switched a jabra bt 150. I still hear static but its allot better than the other two. I've heard other users on other forums complain about the bluetooth.
If anyone has any info to share I would greatly appreciate it.

I am having issues just trying to activate my bluetooth on this phone...Does anyone know what the "PIN" IS TO SELECT A DEVICE?
1234 or 0000 is not working on my t809..tmobile or Samsung 's not helping out.
thanks!

if 0000 is not working take it to the store you purchased it at and have them try to pair it. If they can't do it have them swap it out with a new headset.

I am having the same static issues with my T-809....very very frustrated. I switched the phone out for a new one thinking it would solve my issues....to NO avail. I have tried the motorola h500 and no luck....just bought the plantronics A320.....better, but only if the phone is on the same side of my head as the bluetooth headset...still lots of static if I pu the phone down.
What gives???
Anyone out there know which particular brand of bluetooth device works....
Ps....I tried this Plantronics with my Blackberry....it workls like a charm....even if I walk 20 feet away from the phone.
Very very very dissappointed.
Anyone please help....

Try the Plantronics Voyager 510. I have had the same issues with the T809 and the h500. Also the Jabra BT160 works pretty well.

I've hardly gotten anything but static with all the headsets i've tried. here's a list of all those that sucked
Motorola HS850
Motorola H700
Motorola HS820
Sony Ericsson Akono HBH660
Cardo Scala 500
The H500 by motorola is the only one that i've been able to get to work halfway decently. I kept that one only since i also have a sanyo katana and it works great with that

I've used
Samsung WEP200 - no static
Motorola HS850 - static
Sony Ericsson HBH-660 - no static
With the motorola I found if you keep it away from the radio in the car and if you have direct line of site between the headset and the phone, the static decreases.
Where are you keeping your phone when you have your headset active??
