Are these phones still deceiving?

The Kyocera 2235 looked like a cool phone even though its old. I'd still use it. However, the screen is broken. It blanks out a lot. Do newer Kyocera phones do this or any other thing? I want to get one because they seem interesting but I dont know.... 😕
