Kyocera

I have the slider remix and have US Cellular service. According to US Cellular, Mobile Phone Tools is not supported on the phone. I do know that the phones are disabled for dial up networking. I was told that I needed to enable that feature on the phone to make MPT work with the phone. I enabled it, and it worked...once. the software will not recognize the phone any longer. I have done everything that the Kyocera site says to do in the troubleshooting section to get it to work again.

Does anyone have any other ideas to get the two to work together again?

I need the SPC code for the SE47
ESN 067-12438112. Purchased on e-bay and the phone was with Cricket, and now trying to activate with Verizon. Verizon said they could not activate without a SPC code

The Kyocera 2235 looked like a cool phone even though its old. I'd still use it. However, the screen is broken. It blanks out a lot. Do newer Kyocera phones do this or any other thing? I want to get one because they seem interesting but I dont know.... 😕

Ok I am the guy who was asking for the SPC COde for my phone and no one responded mabey you will respond to this is there a way to do a master reset to the Kyocera Slider Remix that way the spc code is reset? I really need help on this just bought this phone off ebay and can't get it flashed to my Cricket service since it is programmed for another service

anybody having problems with the messaging aspect of the koi?

I signed up for email on my new Kyocera KXv1 on Verizon and cannot figure out what to do to set up the account. I click on "send an email" and it says no account. I click on "new account" and it asks about custon POP or custon IMAP. I have no idea what either of those are, so I just chose one. Then it asked for name, but I don't know if they want my name or the name of the person that I want to email. So I put in my nmae and hit okay. Then it asked for address and then it okay but a message came up about SMTP and do not edit this....I am completely lost because there is nothing in the booklet that came with the phone about how to set up the email (I'm using AOL), and their "help" wasn't. Thanks for anyone who can give me some advice on this....

if i were to use one of those esn changer or spc unlockers to write a new esn for my phone and use the option to change the spc to the default 000000 would that reset my spc code to the default at this point I am at a lost and need a lot of help because im pretty close to having to sell my phone

I'm having trouble with my ringtones and picture ID. I assign a contact a ringtone but it doens't play the ringtone, instead it plays my default ringtone. Any suggestions?
Also the pics I assign to my contact do not show up on display when the contact calls. Instead the pic shows up on display only when I'm calling them. Please help!! Tx

I have a problem with people trying to open my phone like a clamshell 😡 , it does have some give and was made for people to do that. (please not so hard next time.) I spoke to the Kyocera rep about this phone, and he stated that there is a titanium bolt that runs through the swivel point. (nice touch)

I am trying to reprogram my Virgin Mobile SE47. I have entered the 111111 code and gotten to the menu. I have selected Programing and have cracked that code with 847446 (V-I-R-G-I-N) and I get to the next screen with the ESN, NAM MIN, etc. but I can't change them. I am trying to reprogram the phone to work on a different network.

Now, I am having a problem with the Programing code. I cant get in using the 847446 code which was working earlier.

Does Kyocera have plans for a bluetooth enabled phone in the future?

Does anyone know how to put mp3 as ringtones?

I cant assing any mp3 or amr as ringtone and y i dont know why.

Plz somebody explain to me what im doing wrong.

I need to buy 50 tri-band phones without PTT, and 5 with PTT. My number one priority is reception (analog & digital), followed by reliability.

As you can imagine, with this kind of a financial commitment, I don't want to make a bad decision. I am limited to the current Verizon offerings and a price range of $50 or less. Bar vs clamshell is not important.

The 50 phones without PTT (SoHo KX1v) will be used in vehicles with car kits.

The 5 phones with PTT (KX 444) will have light duty use by office staff.

I am also looking at the Motorola T300p, V60s, V65p & v276, the Samsung SCH a650 and the LG VX 330, VX 4650/4700 & VX 6100.

Any advice you can give me about the pros and cons of the Kyocera phones will be app...
