how do you lock the messaging application so only you can access it with a four-digit password?

My daughter just got the LG Shine CU720 and there is an icon on it that we can not figure out what it is for. It is 2 little blue boxes at the top beside the bluetooth icon, the boxes overlap in the bottom right corner of each other. Does anyone know what it is and how to get rid of it?

Sorry if these questions have been asked, but I can't find anything in the manual about it: 1) is it really possible that I can not store an address in the contact? You have got to be kidding me!!
2) since the only 8GB micro SD cards I can find are HD, is it safe for me to assume that these micro SD cards will work in the env2?
3) is there someplace I can find a list of ALL of the icons that exist on this phone? There seem to be quite a few that are not in the manual, and are very different from what I have had in the past. (I have always had Nokia phones)

I just received a Plantronics 521 from amazon.com. I ordered the 520, but this one arrived. It seems to be the same thing as the 520, just packaged for ATT with the incremental model number change.

Will this pair with my LG EnV from Verizon or have they made things just slightly different?

My mother, when trying to type an outgoing text message on her LG200C, gets the error of "Exceeds Available Space". The weird thing is, she gets this message when she tries to type the first letter of the outgoing message, she is not even attempting to send the message yet. I have walked through with her deleting all of her outbox, inbox, and saved messages. Has anyone seen this problem yet with the LG200C. Thanks for anyone's help.

Before I ask my question for those wondering about the turning on in your pocket problem . . . it hasn't happened to me. I know two other people with the phone and they all said they do not have the problem either. I am not saying it isn't going to happen, but it is not a deal breaker for me. I love the phone. Now on to the question . . .

Is there not a way to scroll by page when on the web? I check my gmail account through here and hitting the down key 100 times is getting old. On my Razr I would hit # (i think) and it would scroll by page.

I had an lg vx6100 and within the contact along with phone numbers and email, etc. there was a place for either memo or notes, which I used for street addresses. I lost the phone and had to get an Env because i needed the spot for addresses. I hate the phone and can't find a phone, other than pda to replace it. I'm with verizon. Anyone know of a phone that has this "note" or "memo" witin the individual contact info? Verizon store said to go with pda. Help.

So I'm really interested in the EnV2, and am most likely going to upgrade to it tomorrow. However, I've both heard it does have the ability to send pictures, and that it doesn't.

Am I able to text pictures to my email or to other people with it? Or is there any other way to get pictures off with?(i.e. with the USB port, etc.)

The battery on my Moto 325 is dying so I either replace it or upgrade to a new phone. I'm looking for voice quality and good reception in S.F. Bay Area, as well as occasional use at our remote cabin (whete the Moto did OK). The Moto was our first camera phone and the photos sucked BAD, so was hoping for a camera that would be a bit better. Blutooth and speaker are now essential due to the Hands Free law taking effect.

I can still possibly get the VX8300 if it's better than the 8350, but the price is about the same. I read Cnet's review and they seem to like the 8350, but most User Reviews I've read thought the 8300 was better, almost a classic. Any thoughts?

My niece just upgraded and she wants to know how to get a ringer that came with the LG 6100 transferred to the LG 8350. It was one that came with the phone. Is it technically possible?

I'm looking to upgrade my cell and I have never owned an LG before. I currently have a Moto e815. I love this phone so much. It is a bit beat up and I need to replace it now. I have researched this phone and I like it. The only thing I have a problem wiht is the size of hte font. I know you can change the clock size on the inner screen. But my ? is can you change the size of he font on the outside screen as well? And when a call comes in does it come accross the external screen in larger font? Thanks for your time.

Got an LG Rumor (UX260) about 2 weeks ago and had to switch it out once already because every so often the texting part of the phone stops working. I can hit keys all day long and nothing comes up on the screen...but everything else works. I can still imput contacts or even dial phone numbers, but there's something wrong when I try to text. The first rumor I got did it, and was getting so bad it was doing it once a day, so I'd have to turn the phone off then back on to even be able to text anymore. I switched it out for another rumor, and it's doing it again!

Has anyone else had this problem or even heard of this problem? I really love my phone, so I want it to work, but this is really annoying and shouldn't be happening to a brand n...

I just bought an LG Shine (CU720) and I'm cheap and don't want to pay the fees to download games from the net on my phone. So I was hoping I could download them onto my computer, transfer it to my micro SD and then put them on my Shine that way. I haven't been successful.... is it possible? How?

does anyone know anything about the LG watch phone?

Has anybody successfully unlock a LG CU400 with the unlock code provided by ATT.

The instructions given by ATT do not match with the phone and LG is offering no help at all.

From ATT:
"Power off device and remove AT&T SIM card.

Insert SIM card from another wireless carrier.

Power on handset - phone will display "Invalid SmartChip".

In Idle screen, enter 159753#*# - this does not display on the screen.

Enter 8-digit Unlock code.

Select "OK" - the handset is successfully unlocked."

After I entered 159753#*#, it took me to a different menu with more sub menu.

Any help appreciated

How to sync calendar from Microsoft Outlook using Bitpim

1. Connect a USB cable from your charge port to your computer.
2. Open Bitpim.
Note: Bitpim should automatically alert you that it has detected your enV. If not, press the Find Phone icon on the tool bar to search for your phone.
3. Once your phone has been detected, follow these steps:
File> Import> Auto Calendar Import > Settings
4. With the Auto Calendar Import Settings box open, select Outlook as the Calendar Type.
Note: By selecting Calendar Settings> Filter, you can set the alarm settings for imported events and click OK
5. Click OK again in the Configure Outlook Calendar AutoSync Settings box.
6. To perform the sync, click OK in the Auto Calendar Import Settings box.

if so what is it and where can i find info on it

Hi everyone,

I have a LG Shine CU720 which I keep in a case but have no screen protector (mistake). I took it out of the case and noticed a very small scratch on the middle of the screen. Does anyone have any good ways to fix it or know any good scratch removers? Thanks so much!
