Yes it had a camera and yes you can zoom. Here is what you do...
Open up your camera and then press up or down on your directional pad to get a zoom or un zoom. Nothin to it man.

i actually have this phone and use the zoom quite often for up close pics (ie taking pics of a hockey game from the highrise seats). it does have a zoom on it. all you have to do is go to your picture program, the press the up botton to zoom in and down button to zoom out.also once the picture has been taken you can access your gallery and open your picture and zoom in even on that pic you have taken to magnify it. nothing too it.

That is interesting that ColdWhiteLight is able to zoom with his/her camera. I am playing with a 6225 as I am writing this and there is no way that it is able to zoom. Could it be possible that you have a different yet very similar model? What is the model number on the back of the phone behind the battery? Just curious...

Umm, your wrong dude. I have the Nokia 6225i and you cannot zoom with it. I'm thinking you have the Nokia 6255i, not the 6255i.

I duno if there is a differnce in the 6255 and the 6255i....I also know there is a 6255i CS model which I know was made for us...now the phone does have a zoom if you are in the camera feature and press the up button to zoom in and down to zoom back out. I don't know if there is a variation. But the Cellular South phones do have the zoom.

The 6225 does not have the zoom feature and the 6255i does have a zoom feature. The model numbers are very similar but the stlyes and feature sets are not and that is perhaps how the confusion came about. The original question asked about the 6225 and somehow the conversation worked its way to the 6255i. Two worlds apart. 🙂
