Prob with PC Suite and music
Is anyone else having problems with the PC Suite looking for music? I have a 6230 and I am trying to DL some music. The program seems to lock up on the search for music somewhere close to the latter half of the alphabet.
MicroSHAFT oops I mean soft does not have any clue. I have check the Nokia site with no luck.
Any fixes out there?

Where are you installing it on your phone/ MMC? I have a 6230 that I use only as a MP3 player and I've found for best results to place all of your music files directly onto the MMC and not within a folder. In other words, as soon as you select the MMC the music will appear. Don't install them within your sounds folder. Give it a try. 🙂

Not even getting to the transfer portion. This is happening when I scan my computer for songs that I can add to my phone.

I am assuming you are using the Tranfer Music feature on PC Suite. I find that it is more convenient and reliable if you use the File Manager feature. Locate your music in a separate window and drag and drop the files into your MMC memory. Maybe that will help. Perhaps you need to upgrade your PC Suite version to 6.6 ,Hope that helps.

I have started using the file transfer, it seems to be working.
As far as Ver 6.6.. I have not seen it yet. I will go look....

I ALWAYS JUST DRAGGED MY ALREADY DOWNLOADED MUSIC FILES FROM ONE FOLDER TO ANOTHER. NOKIA SMARTPHONES ARE AWESOME PSEUDO-MP3 PLAYERS (EXCEPT FOR THE LACK OF BASS) WITH MY BLUETOOTH HEADSET ITS AWESOME. I NEVER HAVE USED THAT INSTALL STUFF. I JUST CLICKED ON TRANSFER FILE AND SAVE THEM TO MY MEMORY CARD FROM MY SHARED FOLDER ON MY PC
