Question Regarding 6681

I currently own a Nokia 6600 with T-mobile. I wanted to upgrade to the Nokia 6681, because I've been told i can't use the 6682 because it uses GSM 850 which is not supported by T-mobile. My question: is there a significant upgrade to go from a Nokia 6600 to the 6681 or should I wait until the N70 comes out? Also, If I get the unbranded 6681 will it be able to have MP3 ringtones? Is the quality of the MP3 player on the 6681 close/comparable to the iPod?? and Finally other than the GSM900/GSM850, is there any other differences between the Nokia 6681 and Nokia 6682?

MY ADVICE WOULD BE TO WAIT FOR THE N70. I HAD ONE FOR ABOUT 2 WEEKS AND HAD SO MUCH FUN WITH IT. HOWEVER BOTH THE 6681 AND 6682 ARE GREAT PHONES. I BELIEVE THE 6681 HAS A BETTER CAMERA: 1.3 MEGAPIXEL (1280X960 COMPARED TO THE 1280X900 THE 6682 HAS)
THE 6681 IS A REALLY NICE PHONE WITH MP3 RINGTONES AND A PRETTY DECENT MP3 PLAYER IN IT. I HAVE BARELY USED IT PERSONALLY BUT I USE THE 6670 (WHICH I THINK IS ACTUALLY INFERIOR TO THE 6681) ON A REGULAR BASIS AND CONSIDER THE MP3 PLAYER TO BE SUPERIOR TO THE IPOD WITH THE ONLY EXCEPTION BEING THE CAPACITY. IT ALSO TENDS TO SLOW THE PHONE DOWN SLIGHTLY BUT NOTHING MAJOR. I AM NOT AMERICAN AND AM NOT 100% FAMILIAR WITH THE BANDWIDTH CAPABILITIES OF T-MOBILE AND THE OTHER GSM PROVIDERS EXCEPT THAT T...

The resolution on the 6682 is 1280 x 960, not 1280 x 900.

You could wait for the N70 but you could find yourself waiting for quite some time unless you are willing to obtain one from the European market. It is still uncertain if the N70 will be released in the U.S. market. Why? Nothing has ever been confirmed as to the reason why. In the world of Nokia, as well as anything in the wireless industry, nothing is certain until it has already happened. Sad but true. The 6681 and 6682 are very similar with very few differences. For example the 6681 has the push to talk capability and the 6682 does not. Of course you know the 6681 has the 900/1800/1900 bandwidths and the 6682 is 850/1800/1900. Since you are with T-mobile it does not matter which model you choose because they both have the 1900 bandwidth t...

Thanks, I think it is worth the wait as N70 is starting to sell with some indirect phone dealers in the US. I will wait until the price drops alittle. I plan to use T-mobile only, so will they do away with their 1900 and go to 850 also? And is it true that I won't be able to roam where they have agreements with cingular or will the 900 band pick up the 850 band and let me roam?
I'm a little confused about the N70/other 3G phones. I've read some places say that since its a 3G phone it won't offer the EDGE service and only works with the slower GPRS, and others say that even though its a 3G phone, it will support EDGE so I get faster t-zones... Can you clear that up for me? thanks alot. bye
