Phone book?
Does anyone know if it is possible to tweak the phonebook on moto phones (v551) so that a person's name only shows up once and their contact numbers show up when you go into a sub-screen after selecting that person's name?
Seems like Moto would have caught up with the other manufacturers about this a while ago.
Maybe someone can explain the logic behind the one name-one number concept.

No, that is one thing that you probably dont have on that phone. Other motorola phones can store multiple numbers on one phone, if that is what you are talking about.
