I have a V620 but will only work via usb on winXP with sp1 and NOT sp2. there are no updates I can find. tried everything. Can anyone help? âšī¸

If you are trying to download service pack 2, you will either have to buy it, or find it through many links of pages through microsoft(not recommended). Instead, just set your computer to automatically update when new arrivals come from microsoft, for some reason it will be free... đ

Thanx 4 reply. I have sp2 on a pc(home pc) but the usb V620 connection and software will not work. It will work however, on a pc without sp2(at the office). SP2 has problems with usb type devices such as network cards. Do you know how I can get the v620 cable/software to work on the spc with sp2?

Sorry, butI can't help you on the cable to work on the spc. You might need to use the C.D. that came with the cell phone... Call a motorola technichian 1800 motorola...

Which software are you using to connect to the V620? MobilePhoneTools worked really poorly (if at all) until a recent update (not at home so I'm not sure of the version number). If it's not MPT you may want to try that instead of the software you are using.
