v551
Anyone that actually works with the phones got anything good or bad to say about the v551??? I need a new phone and can't wait until the really good ones come out... I am usually anti Moto, but if this lives up to the reviews I may give them another shot... either this or the 6230, but that screen is just so damn small...

That one may be a tough choice. I currently have the V551, but have only had it for two days. I have mostly had Nokia's before and have been happy with them overall. I have also had a couple of Motorola's and they have been alright too. I like the styling and features of both phones, so I think it is personal prefference on that one.
But to answer your question; I have nothing bad to say aobut the V551. I think it is a good phone. All the good features of the V600 and V400 combined, with Bluetooth for a good price. The one advantage I see for the 6230 is that it has full-duplex speakerphone, whereas the V551 only has a normal somewhat nice speakerphone. But still, it is a toss-up. The output power on the Motorola is better.

I really want a v551 but i'm not in the u.s and i just want the handset. Can any1 tell me where i can get one from so that i can order it and just insert my simcard when i get it.

well you can wait a monthand go to a website or get on ebay try to find some onr with a high feed back score and ask them to ship to your country
