RAZR Quad Band -- does that include analog?

I am really clueless about the analog and digital interaction. Can a quad-band phone like the RAZR function in a remote area that only has analog transmission?

no that does not include analog. None of Cingular's phones roam on analog networks.

Nope. Quad band GSM is 850/1900 MHz and 900/1800 Mhz, no analog.
