πŸ™‚ Hi, i'm an italian and i have a motorola e398 and i wanna update my flex ver: SE7337AXXH1085 to ver: SE7333AXXN107F and my software ver: R372_G_0E.20.59R to ver: R372_G_0E.20.95R.
The questions are πŸ™„
1- My language pack (0039) would be rewriten by a new one? and if yes, the language pack is in the flex or software? is there any way to know which language pack has the new flex/software without install it? you know, i'm italian and so i wanna italian menù and italian dictionary to write sms... 😁
2- is there any way to backup my original flex and software?
3- i think my flex version is newer than the one i wanna install...isn't it?
4- the upgrade of the flex and the sw really improved my phone performance? do you know how?

1 - Your language pack will definitely be overwritten if you update your phone software (not flexes). You can however, attempt to find firmware with the Italian language pack (I wish you luck on that). And the only way you can find out the software's language pck is if it is located in the file name. (Mine for example, said R372_G_0E.20.95R_lang002C.shx)
2 - I heard rumors of people who have claimed to have backed up their firmware, with VictorGSM. You can find more details bout this at www.howardforums.com
3 - I have no clue about your flex version. I have been flexing with the SE7333AXXN107F, and I have been told that is the latest through motorola.
4 - I updated my firmware, and the only improvement is in the features, not performance....
