I figured Id keep you guys posted on bluetooth headsets because Im sure some of you are as annoyed with them as I am (trying to find the right one)

Picked up the H3 yesterday, only used it a little bit, but so far so good:

1: FIT - it fits great, nice and snug to the ear, I can shake my head back and forth and it doesnt go move a bit. I think I can golf with this on (may help some of you) and take full swings without any movement. So this was a plus right away (much sturdier than the Jabra BT800 and Moto HS850)

2: SOUND QUALITY - this is great...very loud and clear. Blows away the quiet Moto HS850 and is even better than the BT800. No problem driving and hearing. From what Ive heard so far Im clear to the person on the other en...

Bluetooth on the phone may have powered off. Try doing this:

Go to Settings --> Connection --> Bluetooth --> Setup --> Power --> Set to ON.

Then try turning the headset on. If it doesn't autoconnect, I'd be surprised.

Anyways, Im returning the H3 RAZR headpiece and keeping the new HS850 I got. If anyones interested, heres a little review and why I took one over the other:

H3 RAZR
pros:
- sound volume is loud enough
- sound quality is excellent, sounds just like phone (crystal clear)
- seems durable and higher quality
- fits well/comfortable
- looks great/sleek
- uses same usb cable as ...

Yeah, normally the phone shuts bluetooth off to conserve power; the difference in my experience is negligible.

My E815, V710 both lasted 2 days when in good coverage under normal use. My ROKR lasts almost 3. All of them have bluetooth on full time.

It's up to you, though.
