I have a Verizon E815 and want to switch to sprint or alltel. But verizon tech support will not give me the unlock code. The phone is locked by motorola by the request of verizon wireless. But I paid for the phone and full filled the contract. But they will not let me leave. Is motorola a part of verizon "tying the product with verizon" and other carriers conspiring to price control. Which would be orgainized anti-trust conspiracy to control and force higher prices monthly to united states citizens as a whole industry currenty does.

2. Higher monthly charges when discounted contract is expired. ...

There are programs online you can find to unlock your phone... look at any of the other unlocking threads in any of the other forums. You can stay on your current contract as long as you want. If you want to get a new phone at a discounted rate they may require you to upgrade your plan and WILL require another contract. But, if you buy a new phone at full retail then you don't have to change anything. I helped a lady last week on a 30 min plan her bill was 12.42/month. She had the same Motorola 'Megaphone' since she started her service in 1994.
