Tri-band. WTF?

I have had mine for about two months and it is the best phone by far that I have ever owned.

Is there anyway that I can use my regular stereo standard plug earphones on the MOTORAZR V3xx? I have a great set of noise defeating earphones that I use for CD players and MP3 players, and it would be great if there was a plug adapter to this phone. Thanks for any info you can provide! 🙂

Couple of questions:

1. Ive never owned a flip phone before, stayed away from them due to friends having issues with hinges breaking. Is the Pebl pretty durable, or does it feel like it will break easily down the road?

2. Is battery life pretty good and as advertised?

3. Anyone get a skin to work with the Tmobile rubber version? Ive seen a chrome version that used skins.

4. I read that the Razr had a limitiation on using MP3 as a ringtone, and you had to rename a file to get it to work. Does the Pebl have the same issues, or is it easy to get MP3 ringtones to work?

5. How is the data transfer to PC? Do you have to buy software for the mini usb plug? Using bluetooth does it need software?

OK, so, a buddy of mine has a v360 from T-Mobile, and it will only hold 30 text messages at a time. What could be causing this? Is it a restriction of T-Mobile's software that flashing it to original Motorola software would fix? Or is it just a flaw with the phone?

Probably Motorola's best CDMA phone. Who agrees or disagrees.

There are numerous limitations between the K1M Verizon phone, VCAST ME (VME) and the Drivers which are not well represented by Motorola, Verizon and/or Smith Micro. I have included here what I have discovered. The attached PDF file from Myblueworks.com was the best condensed reference material I could find. Please test my discoveries, mine are based on testing 7 K1Ms with 6 desktops and 2 laptops.

Anyone have any recommendations for third party software for the Q?

Here is what i need.

Some type of personal finance/ expense tracking software

Millage tracker

GPS navigation

A good tasks software

Maybe some type of finance software were i can enter in all my Tax deductions IE: pens, Paper, supplies ex.

And anything else that is very cool to have for the Q. I am not looking to spend a fortune but i don't want junk software either.

Any help would be great

Is there any ther way to increase the volum to wired headset or bluetooth headset? Even when volume is at max 7, it is still way to low to have a conversation. thanks

I have searched these forums and can't find a straight forward answer. Anyway, I'm interested in buying either a Samsung 610 or Moto Krzr K1M from Sprint. Anyway, does the KRZR support headphones? Do I need an adapter? What exactly would I need to listen to the MP3 player through headphones? Should I even buy this phone or the 610? Thanks

Ok, so I am finally able to upgrade and want to because I have an unlocked pink razr and want to get back to a real cingular phone. But, I'm having a hard time deciding on which phone.

I really like my razr I have now, I really really like the size and the big screen is cool too but not mandatory (as i know the krzr has a smaller screen). I don't care about data speeds, mp3 players, etc so I'm debating whether I should just get a cingular branded v3 instead of switching phones.

I wanted the gold v3xx until I read somewhere it's bigger than the v3, is that correct? I really really really like the krazr and can get it for $100 but is it smaller than the razr as far as thickness?

I haven't been able to figure out if I can attach a wrist strap to a KRZR. (Not put it in a case that has a strap...actually attach a strap to the phone). There is a "thing" near where the "hinge" is...this "thing" looks like where you would attach a strap on other phones but on this phone it is much smaller and you would have to find a strap with a very thin thread on it if this is indeed where you are meant to attach the strap. I drop my phone often enough that I use the strap on my current phone alot. And with the KRZR's front being almost solid glass, I sure don't want to drop it (my friend's KRZR's glass front has a huge crack in it from being dropped). I was messing around with my phone on P2K menu editor, and i added itunes by mistake. I have a pink v3 razr that was originally on Cingular but is unlocked. Since i added itunes, when i start up the phone, it doesn't get past the HelloMoto splash screen. Is there anything i can do?

hey i have a razr V3m, with amp'd mobile, and i was messing with the menu settings, and now I can't access the main menu on the phone! I've tried everything i can think of, but to no prevail. could someone please help me!
There is no menu button to click!

I have a C139 and I can not adjust the backlight timing, 20 seconds is the maximum and it is not enough for me.
the worst is that I can not read what is displayed when it is off...

I recently got a motorola krzr from alltel, and just found out it was defective. They can't get my phone book off of the phone with their software. I was wondering if I could use p2k or some other software to get my phone book off of my phone, so I can transfer it to my new phone. Your help is highly appreciated. I have to turn the old phone back in tomorrow, so I'm on a time limit. Thanks a million.

When is the Q9 coming? Should we expect it on Cingular? If so, when?

I'm trying out a Blackjack right now, and like it, but might return and hold off if the Q9 is a couple months away...

What's the difference, if any, between Motorola Phone Tools 4.x and (Avanquest) Mobile Phone Tools 4.x? Both are available from apparently reputable vendors for less than $10.

Moto's site says its software is for Moto phones only. Not sure about Mobile Phone Tools.

I have a V365, no memory card. I am also uncertain about its compatibility with Mobile Phone Tools.
